Rafting on the Buoi river is an excellent way to enjoy many types of beautiful scenery, watch birds with a variety of birdsong, and to observe local fishermen at work.
The Buoi river passes Khanh village and flows along the Ho Chi Minh trail. Please check the blue route in the map at the right for more detail. You can take a bamboo raft from near Khanh village and end at Thach Lam, where the Buoi & Ngang rivers meet and where there is a shop and a café. At the small Quan Co Ba Hotel/Co Ba Shop, you can enjoy coffee, lunch, dinner and a restful overnight stay.
You can raft the entire section or do smaller parts. In this case you will need a car to bring you down to Thach Lam from where you exit the river.
